Accidental dog boarders

About two years ago my partner and I agreed to look after a friends dog while they were away. Their trip got delayed which meant we ended up looking after the dog longer than expected. Due to this our friend offered to pay us for his dogs stay.

A few months later our friend made a similar request, this time is was for his dog and his friends dog! We looked after these dogs and before we knew it we were looking after a third. We then realised we needed to register as dog boarders.

Now we are proud, fully licensed, dog boarders. We didn't originally plan for this, however we enjoy looking after the dogs and appreciate the income it brings in.

Waggova

In our time as dog boarders, we realised the importance of being organised and keeping records. While daily records are important, it can be cumbersome to maintain them. We felt a simple app would help.

In December of 2024, we took on the challenge of building this app. It has reached a stage where we use it to help with the daily operations of our dog boarding business.
